The stubbornness, the intransigence , the cruelty and insensibility of the international British Governments against the problem of Irish Patriots on hunger strike to the death, reminiscent of the torquemado and the barbarism of the inquisition during the middle ages.
The tyrants tremble before men who are capable of dying after 60 bays of hunger strike, like the example of Christ’s three days of Calvary, a symbol of centuries of human sacrifice. Now is the time to end, through world wide condemnation and pressure this repugnant atrocity - Fidel Castro 18-08-1981
