Finbarr Walsh commemoration 2013

The Comrades and familly of Finbarr walsh held our annual commemoration in memory of Finbarr, his deeds and his beliefs. Finbarr was a dedicated, active and stalwart republican throughout his entire life. When the Good Friday agreement came, Finbarr saw it for what it was and was instrumental in keeping republicanism in Cork alive. His tragic death was a huge loss for Republicanism, Ireland and his beloved Cork, and to remember his life the Cork City cumann is named after Finbarr. We remember him with honor, pride, and will continue to commemorate him through our actions and in the advancement of Republican Ideals. Beir Bua.
